Amanda, Shola and AJ are disciples of Maestro Manuel Rufino and active members of the Golden Drum Community and the Initiatic College; where they study and practice the healing ways of North and South native traditions.
Amanda Capobianco is a certified yoga instructor with over ten years of teaching experience and the founding member of health and healing concierge service Brooklyn Light. She is a drummer, spirit driven song writer, reiki practitioner and an astrological enthusiast. Amanda has the unique gift of making spiritual practice accessible to anyone. Xango Shola is a multi-faceted artist and active member of the Golden Drum and the Sacred Arts Research Foundation. Shola's mission is to be in service to the preservation of the sacred traditions of the earth and enrich communities through educational programs and events. She is a song carrier; singing traditional songs from around the world, frame drummer, seamstress and specializes in ceremonial artistry. Shola is the co-founder of Made in Prayer, a collective that empowers communities through the power of creation; hosting educational programs that guide you through prayerful art making.
AJ BLOCK is a musician, healer and teacher inspired by spirituality and sacred traditions. Predominantly known for his work as director of Didge Project, AJ operates within the intersection of sound and healing. As a Certified Integrative Sound and Music Practitioner AJ works with individuals and groups who seek healing through the didgeridoo, voice, piano, guitar, flute and drums.
