Welcome to The ABCs of Didgeridoo, a program specially designed to help you become a skilled didgeridoo player and attain healthy natural breathing.
Through a series of classes over the course of Fall 2015 you will learn the skills necessary to embark on your didgeridoo journey and elevate your playing to the next level.
The ABCs of Didgeridoo is designed to help you develop a complete understanding of didgeridoo playing. The program includes in-person small group training, your very own travel didgeridoo which fits in any small daypack, step-by-step practice worksheets not available elsewhere, and a rich, supportive community of people with the desire to learn to play the instrument, all designed to challenge you to believe in yourself, get you to master the technical aspects of the didgeridoo, and break through to exciting new levels of health, meditation, musicality, confidence and more. Created and managed by Didge Project's AJ Block, The ABCs of Didgeridoo will give you everything you need to shine as a didgeridoo player and a musician.

-The ABCs of Didgeridoo Handbook (not available elsewhere): Our easy to follow written manual
The ABCs of Didgeridoo is perfect if you’re someone who wants to proficiently play the didgeridoo. This program is for you if you are interested in enhancing the health of your respiratory system and breathing, learning a musical instrument and reducing stress through meditative breathing practices. Through consistent weekly meetings over the course of three months this program ensures your progress as a didgeridoo player.

Participants in our live class will have access to any didgeridoo in our store. Instruments will be available for purchase for as low as $40! Remote participants can order an instrument from us ahead of time.

Course Director: AJ Block
AJ Block is the director of Didge Project and co-founder of Sacred Arts Research Foundation. He is recognized by the global didgeridoo community as one of the most active modern didgeridoo teachers.
In addition to didgeridoo, AJ has spent years studying music traditions from all over the world including, jazz (originally trombone and currently piano), classical music (piano and guitar), Indian Classical Music (vocal raga), and world percussion (hand drums and shekere). AJ works with clients using the Didgeridoo Empowerment method, a system he developed to continually push developing musicians to higher levels of comfort in the musical setting. AJ is a graduate of the NY Open Center Sound and Music Practitioner Certification program and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of California Santa Barbara.
