Tuesdays, March 28, April 4 and April 11, 7-9pm
Welcome to our Spring 2017 Frame Drum and Global Rhythms Workshop. Together, we will dive into ancient rhythms and melodies from around the world. We will become in touch with our inner musicians through movement, vocalization and rhythm-development exercises. Adam's approach to teaching music is through a diverse and well-rounded rhythmic and melodic vocabulary that will take students on a journey through the musical traditions of the Middle East, India, Cuba, Brazil, and beyond. Students are welcome to bring their own instruments. There will be high quality instruments available for purchase, and student instruments to practice on during the workshops.
