Iris R. Campion, new author of Intelligent Intimacy: My Life and Friendship with Chaos Magician Stan Smith, will be hosting a reading and a lecture on the subject "What is intimacy?" Books will be available for sale and there will be time for questions and answers. Her book is both a memoir and an introduction to the theories of her teacher Stan Smith. Iris will be sharing some experiences from her life that touch on the difference between consciousness and awareness, de-conditioning one's mind and the practice of intimacy as a path to realization.

About the Author

Iris is a dancer, yoga teacher, Ayurvedic practitioner and esthetician. She has lived in many places including L.A., Mexico, Peru, the Bahamas and New Mexico. A practitioner of eclectic modalities of consciousness, she has been working with Stan Smith since 2001. She was raised by a family who opened ashrams within the UGB, organized ceremony with various elders and led consciousness raising events. She lives in Southern California and this is her first book.
